[ST] Minneapolis to San Diego

I am planning to ride from Minneapolis to San Diego in a couple of weeks 
(leaving mid-day June 29th and hoping to arrive in San Diego no later than 
early morning July 3rd).

I was wondering if any of my fellow ST list members are willing to offer up 
an opinion regarding roads (duh.....). My current thinking is to blow down 
to the Denver area from Minneapolis as quickly as possible, then start to 
"enjoy" the ride...

Any and all suggestions are very welcome, thanks!
