Patti,
I am in the same boat, but for very different reasons. As you may remember
my ST locked up about 350 miles from home. That was 4 weeks ago this coming
Thursday. Yeah I too have a SERIOUS addiction problem to deal with. It's
KILLING me. And reading all the "wonderful" posts from those returning from
the Rallye isn't helping! you dawgs ;-)
My "fix" has been borrowing a Speed Triple from the shop. Man, what a hoot!
Those things feel alot faster, even though it's the same engine. I think
it is the combination of the upright position, lack of faring and shorter
gearing along with the Speed-Trip tune. Go ride one, it will turn up into a
"hooligan" for sure.
Speaking of "Hooligans". Anyone seen the latest article in "Torque"?? They
have an ST, Daytone & Speed Triple, all TURBOCHARGED by Turbo Connection.
Man what a concept, now if I only had an extra $6K.......
