Hi there Daphne!  Glad to see I provoked a response!  I suppose you could
say it was aesthetics, but I must say it does remind me somewhat of the
stuff my 10 year old son makes out of Lego, bits of plasticene and old
Airfix kits, whereas the Sprint is understated elegance
(naturally!!).Classical as compared to ...erm... Dada?(there - that ought to
light up some correspondance.)  Here in UK we have particularly vigilant law
enforcement, especially on Sundays on good roads.  I find that my Sprint is
the ideal Q bike, meaning I don't get pulled, and my Speed Triple mates do.
And it goes round corners just as well.  Maybe if I had your roads, weather
and traffic densities I would probably think differently.  Put it all down
to envy at someone actually getting a free  choice!
