Re: [ST] Re: N.C.

Hi Tom,
the Yoggie that got me was hiding just over a hill, parked on the verge; white american car (GMC or Chevy I think), but not a Cherokee. Had big green stripes down the side.
As Neil put it, anything not parked in an 'overlook' parking area is likely to be a Park Ranger hoping to collect fines.

Keith, I am afraid you wont like the R1100S - to be honest it was completely crap - terrible surging, horrible vibrations, uncomfortable as hell and very slow compared to the ST - the big twin takes ages to spin up. Also the weird front suspensiion (telelever) gives almost no feedback from the road. As you say, there is plenty of time for sightseeing. To be honest I would save the cash and take the blue BMW 750 from Agogo - buy yourself some beers and steak.

Have fun!
Jonathan

speaking of them, do the yogi's still drive white cheokees, or have
they diversified?

considering I should be on that road a week from tomorrow, that
information might be handy :-)
