[ST] Headlight Adjustment and Hi/Lo Beam Switch Complaint

With the recent interest in adjusting the high beams, I went out to the bike and tried it. It is totally simple, and I can't imagine why the manual says to remove the cockpit. As shown clearly in the owners manual, there are small cadmium-colored screws down on the lower-right of the left lamp, and lower left of the right lamp. On the left side, if you turn the bars full left, you can see the
phillips head screw clearly. It is a doddle to reach in with a short screwdriver and adjust it. Same for the other side. The horizontal adjustment is more challenging, as they are in the upper left and right corners respectively. Nevertheless, they are easy to find by feel once you know what you are looking for, and can also be easily adjusted as needed.

Now for the complaint. I really, really dislike the location of the hi/low beam switch. On the Trophy, it was quite forward on the circular plastic piece, and one could use the side of one's index finger to switch it. On the Sprint, it is rotated further back, and for me at least, it is awkward to use with the thumb, especially while clutching, and more awkward with the index finger. I tried
drilling a new positioning hole in the bar, thus rotating the switch forward, but found it made the turn signal position awkward. Just a small nit on an otherwise perfect machine, but I really grew used to the convenience of the Trophy switch position.
