short answer:Yes, regularly with 6th gear high speed slabbing, even with
17 tooth sprocket.

Long answer: Just got home from Vermont, average back road technical
riding ~45 mpg (US)  and , slabbing up and back ~80 mph+ on highway got
~55mpg(US). When putting gas in I fill to about 1 inch under fill lip.
