Hoping that the following will be appreciated by anyone styling themselves
"xhippy", here are some alternative lateral  lo-tech solutions to the clever
stuff with bendy screwdrivers suggested by our more literal minded
comrades-on-wheels: (1) reduce pre-load on rear shock and carry a friend (2)
clean headlight lenses/visor/spectacles/optic nerve (3) take out ear plugs
in order to slow down (on the basis that wearing earplugs is the cheapest
go-faster mod available) (4) EAT MORE CARROTS!

(Sorry, folks, its a Friday afternoon in England, and this goofing about is
all too typical over here, and no doubt accounts for UK's economic
underperformance vs, the US etc... but there it is)
