  I too went the same route last summer.  Here is what I have found.  Not
that loud.  When you wind the trottle open it will make more noise, but
around town it is sedate.  You loose little or no weight.  The CF is wrapped
around the Stainless Steel, so it might actually weigh more.  Power wise it
is much much better.  I don't know if it was the CO being tuned or the pipe
but low end was much improved, the revs climb quicker and there seems to be
a bit more on the top end.

  I'd do it again, but $500 seems a bit high.  It takes 15 minutes to
download the new tune, and the pipe used to around $400, but $500 isn't
robbery.
