OK Folks. Get ready for this one.

My typical mileage: 35mpg(US gallons and miles and pers).

What? Ohmigosh? How does he do that?

Well, my typical ride is my daily commute into New York City. 20 miles 
one way.
Morning ride: 35 minutes (average speed: 34.3mph).
Evening ride good day: 45 minutes (26.7mph).
Evening ride bad day: 60 minutes (20mph).
Evening ride REALLY bad day: 75 minutes (16mph).
My typical ride also includes filtering, lane splitting, speeding and 
other law scoffing activities.
Worst commute in the cage was 2.5 hours! (8mph)

My best mileage to date: 50mpg; riding the hills of northwest New Jersey.
