Hi Mike,

Let me make a small clarification. Rick is the son (one of them any who).
Bill Mayer was the man who pioneered the day-long saddle when he and
Russell were partners. What I liked about Bill was that every single saddle
he made, he made. That cannot be said about a Russell or Corbin, etc. Butt
then that's probably why the earliest ride-in appt for Rick is mid-Sept : -) 

Bill has another son, who also does seats. From discussions with friends
and other mailing lists, Rick is the most responsive to customers.
