[ST] New Style One Piece Shifter

Hello All: can anyone who replaced their shifter with the one piece 
job tell me how much of a difference in dimensions it is?? ie, is it 
closer to the foot peg, further away, and by how much??  I want to 
order it from the dealer but it's $90.00 and I don't want it to be 
too close to the foot peg
