[ST] ear plugs and autocom?

Does anyone listen to music or use a radio with the Autocom while
wearing ear plugs?

If so, do you find that the Autocom still has enough volume to be
at a decent listening level?

I can remember many moons ago when I was working at Ford in the
summers, I would wear ear plugs everyday with a walkman over them.
You lost some of the high end in the music, but the music was
enjoyable none the less. At the end of the day when I got home I
kept on accusing my friends and parents of shouting at me :-)

Can I expect the same using the Autocom with a FRS radio and a
portable CD player?
