RE: [ST] Triumph Sprint ST/Honda VTR1000 Super Hawk

In Australia at least, the Super Hawk tag was used by Honda about 20 years
ago for a pair of basic road bikes. In fact my brother had a Super Hawk 400
and I had a Super Hawk 250 at one stage. Mine was actually a member of the
CB250 family. A CB250N I think from memory.

"Firestorm" certainly doesn't describe that little machine ;-)

Can anyone tell me why a VTR 1000 is called a Super Hawk in the States but a
Firestorm everywhere else ? Just wondered.
