[ST] Adding 6th Gear to 5-Speed T509

Hi all,

Looking for someone on this list who knows whether or not it is possible to add a 6th gear from a pre-99 Sprint ST to a 95 T509 Speed Triple.  I have heard that the gearbox (and gearing for the first 5 gears) is identical between the 2 except the Sprint has the 6th gear.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
