[ST] Can't get Neutral

Hi all,

      Just wondering whether anyone has had this problem. When I come to a
stop I have to get neutral straight (away usually from second). Otherwise
the gear lever tightens and heaps of pressure is required to move it (such
that the hand has to be used), resulting in the selection of first or second
and not neutral. To get around the problem, if the bike is switched off then
all is back to normal.

The bike has just clicked over 4300 km and been run in properly. Other than
this, everything (including gearbox) has performed faultlessly. Is this just
an adjustment issue? Any suggestions?
