i noticed that my clutch grip had a larger space after it was transported to 
the dealers for final warranty work.  I took off the bar end grip and 
promptly stripped the threads.  8$ worth of taps and dies later it was fixed. 
 I think the grip just  bunches up so I would just ride it.  john c
