[ST] RE: Warped rotors

I developed warped rotors on  '94 Trophy 3 after 20k miles.

The symptoms were a pronounced juddering with tyre pattering during medium
to heavy braking.

Admittedly, I was giving the brakes some stick in those days, but I was
unable to identify a direct cause.

I was always of the opinion that the floating mechanism would make it
impossible to test for warping by measuring the run-out (with a dial gauge).
Can anyone shed some light on this?
