Several folks on the MP3 mailing lists I'm on have them, and all seem 
pretty satisfied. They say that the Boostaroo does boost the volume 
quite a bit, and that it manages to do so without inducing any 
noticeable distortion. I'm sure you could return it if it didn't work 
out for you, too.
