The really important thing is to VARY the engine RPM's Also if there
are nice roads near the dealer try doing some miles in the area
before hitting the Slab. But even on the slab try to keep varying
your speed don't just trundle along at one rpm.. Better to go a few
hundred over than just drone along. You can also stop at say 20 mile
intervals and let thing cool.. this cycling of the engine also helps.
