[ST] RS Fuel Consumption

In the spirit of the Lord Culver's concern over his ST's fuel consumption, I'd like to raise some questions about mine.  Now, mine has the current, latest and greatest fuel sender, so that's not the problem.  Rather, its that on my last trip, I got about 38mpg.

This was HIGH speed travel, doing the "Atomic Tour" averaging 90+ at 2500-6000 feet above sea level, but still, the mileage seems a bit low.  Any thoughts?  No gas smell or other indications of any leakage.  The ST and RS have the same engine, the bike is stock w/ the latest tune as of February.  I can't believe that the aerodynamic drag is that much greater for the RS.
