[ST] neutral problems

in the last couple of days, my RS (6 mos, 2500 miles) has started
refusing to go into neutral when at a stop. or rather, it refuses to
come out of first at all. sometimes i can get it to pop to neutral by
tapping the bottom of the lever with the back of my heel, but kicking
the bike like that doesn't seem like the right solution. besides,
it doesn't always work.

one thing that has coincided with the change in behavior is that the
weather has gotten a lot hotter -- it was probably 75 or 80 on the
road this morning. but thinking back, i think i may have been having
more and more trouble of the last weeks in finding neutral, though in
those cases it was a matter of going from 1st to 2nd and back again,
and not being able to hit the halfway point. now, as i said, the symptom
is just that the lever will _not_ move out of first.

shutting off the engine and rocking the bike will always let it pop out,
no problem. the oil level is fine.

anyone else seen this? it's a realy pain in the butt...
