    I had a '74 FLCH 1200 Superglide and it had a single disk up front and
another in the rear. It had the same rear fender as a Sportster. It stopped
pretty well for ancient times. I think '73s had discs as well.
    I had friends with both 750 and 500 Kawasaki triples. The (2) 750s would
eject the right sidecover at around 55 MPH during hard acceleration. The 500
just fell off one day while cruising on the freeway. The triples were quirky
bikes.
