[ST] CF pipe & '99 gearing

Another thing I had done to my beloved ST while she was in for her 12k
service was to replace the sprockets and chain, dropping the gearing to '99
spec: 43/18 instead of 43/19. The rpm is only a bit higher: about 4,250 instead
of 4,000 at 70 mph(actual) in sixth gear. I also had the pipe upgraded from
stock to the carbon fiber performance pipe. Between the two changes, the bike
feels considerably different power-wise. I used to downshift out of sixth any
time I dropped below 70 mph. Now 6th is useful from a little above 60 mph on
up. At any speed the roll-on acceleration is better. The pipe is louder at idle
than I recall from others' bikes, but once moving and above about 3k rpm it's
not annoying at all. Gotta love this machine!
