Hey, that's my buddy!  Let me add a little more detail.  He ended up sliding
face first down the road.  I would have hated to see the result of not
wearing a real full-face helmet.  The Fieldsheer leathers have PLASTIC
zippers.  The zipper melted and failed, which allowed the leathers to come
off of his shoulder.  So whatever you buy, I would look at the fasteners
really closely.

Also, before there is any wholesale Fieldsheer bashing, he is working with
the company and we are waiting to see what their official response is.
