[ST] Removing front wheel

This may sound like a stupid question (won't be the first
time for me :-), but I wonder if someone who has removed
their front wheel would tell me how to do it. I'll preface
with the admition that I have not tried yet.
I ask because it appears that the axel is screwed in
somehow, otherwise why is there a large hex head socket in
the end? But, my tool kit does not have any tool that fits
that socket, so I wonder if it just pulls out after
loosening the pinch bolts. If I need a tool, I'll need to
go get one somewhere. And, if it needs a tool, why didn't
Triumph include one in my kit? Is it missing?
At 9600 miles, the wear bars are showing on the BT020 front,
so I need to get it replaced. I just finished a hard
weekend of riding three of the Sierra Nevada passes (Sonora,
Monitor, Ebbetts), and that pretty much finished off the
useful life of the tire. BTW, that's a great ride, for any
of you Northern Californians that have not done it. Monitor
is especially nice: excellent road surface, no sand or other
junk and, best of all, no traffic in 18 miles of twists, at
least at the time I went through yesterday.
Thanks.
