Just measure the air pressure inside the airbox @ full throttle & max rpm.
Compare atmospheric V. in the airbox.
The larger the pressure drop, the bigger the restriction & the more power is being lost.
I havent done this myself yet, but I suspect the airbox or filter is quite restrictive as fitting the factory race can increases low rpm & midrange hp but makes no difference to the top-end hp. Looking at the 2 mufflers I feel the race can should flow a lot better & the lack of difference in top end power indicates there may be a restriction elsewhere (ie: airbox).
