RE: [ST] dead speedo

 Rick,

I had my speedo fail, about 4k miles ago, on a ride to work. It ended up
being trashed at the wheel itself. The dealer ordered another unit and I
had to wait about a week until the part and appt came up again. Luckily I
knew the important RPM points for my ride to work so no tickets. I believe
a few others have had there's die as well at the wheel.

Subject: [ST] dead speedo

Has anyone had speedo problems? My sdeepo went dead during my last ride.
The lcd odometer display sill works, but doesn't change. I was hoping to
find a cable to replace, but duh, its electronic. Is there an easy way to
check the connections or a likelier end it would fail at, the wheel or dash?

Thanks,

Rick
