Re: [ST] New Daytona release?

Ashley--
Thanks for keeping up the positive slant on the new Daytona over on the
T5net list. Those guys are so negative about the bike. Their likes are
certainly not on a waiting list. I think they will change their tune when
they get passed on the track by an '02 or get to ride one.
The looks have grown on me, while I admit it is not quite as curvaceous or
unique as the earlier Daytonas. But looks are not everything with a bike,
same as for a woman. I have always said it's the total package and the way
everything works together. A Triumph triple that is slightly japanese
looking and is light and flickable with as much power as an R1, with a
beautiful exhaust note..... sounds like a gorgeous, intelligent tall blonde
who loves sex but has a slightly crooked smile. What's to complain about?

<<<<Congratulations on a wise choice of bike, I wish I was putting a deposit
down as well but not this year. Given the expected big demand a waiting
list
is sure to get longer and longer. I hope you don't have to wait too
long.
