Here's my $.02 worth. I replaced my stock stuff over the winter. 
Chain is a DID 530-ZVM ( with rivet master link) this is DID's top of 
the line 530 chain ( FWIW Triumph is now fitting DID 530VM as OEM 
instead of the crappy Regina that mine came with) I replaced the 
front sprocket with an OEM 18T. I went with the OEM front due to it 
having the rubber damping ring. I was told by several reputable folks 
that the damper is a good thing for the trans and smoothness, and yes 
$65.00 does suck! I replaced the rear sprocket with a steel AFAM. I 
went with a steel rear since I didn't care about the weight savings 
and would rather get more miles out of it.
