Initial reports indicate that the new Tiger should trounce the GS as a sport-tourer. The 955i Tiger sounds like a great all-around bike. I'd still pick the Beemer for adventure touring, just because if I'm going to be riding 1000+ miles on dirt roads, I don't want to screw around with a chain.
