Anyone Drag Race the Sprint ST or RS?

I do a fair amount of drag racing in my '95 Corvette (the other toy) and
plan to eventually take my '01 Sprint ST to one of my local dragstrips in NJ
(Englishtown or Island).

While the Sprint is not a true race bike ( I did get it for the
sport-touring aspects), I am curious to see how well it will perform at the
track, in 100% stock form.

I've seen many Ninja's, Suzuki's (Hayabusa's) and Yamaha's at the track and
they can be mighty quick.......the big motor 1100 and 1200 bikes are running
in the mid to high 9 second range at 140 to 145 mph.....that is FAST!

Just wanted to see if anyone has taken their bike to the strip and if so,
how did it run?

btw...for any NJ/NY riders, there is a motorcycle show at Raritan Center
this weekend - all manufacturer's will be present.
