[ST] RE: (ST) Dead Trumpet



On the subject of disabling the safety cutout switches on the ST with a view to
eliminating a potential failure point might I suggest the following course of
action.

Instead of disconnecting the switches and shorting the wires together why not
cut the wires and rejoin them with waterproof bullet connectors but put one male
and one female connector on each side of the resulting wiring (switch and
harness sides). This way you can leave the switch in place but if it should fail
you simply disconnect the switch and connect the male and female connectors on
the harness side together then drive off.
