[ST] light switch

Hello all:
I think many of you are confused in your terminology WRT the "light switch". The Left switch cluster on the bike is for selecting low or high beam of the headlights. If you have an American market bike the headlights are 'ON" all of the time. In the rest of the world, the bike has an actual "LIGHT" switch on the right switch cluster. This is a three way switch which allows the rider to completely turn off all of the lights, turn on the rear/brake and small "third eye" (small headlight), or all of the lights as per the American models. It is this Right mounted switch that has been referred to in recent discussions.
If you would like to purchase a "European" switch, you must purchase it from an overseas vendor, such as Jack Lilley, Ltd. You simply replace the stock American unit with the "Euro" unit, unplug the wiring loom and reconnect the new loom. Piece of cake! Costs about $77 delivered. Now you have a choice.
Ride safely,
