What are the stock tires?? and what air pressures are you using?? 
Are the tires heated up when this happens?? Is the road surface 
good.. you're not hitting tar snakes or anything are you??

It could also be a suspension issue, the stock (un-modified) forks 
being damper rods don't do really well when heavily compressed. If 
you read about damper rod forks , you'll understand why, but simple 
answer is hydraulic lock.

BTW if I was getting my front tire slipping out an inch or two on a 
regular basis I'd be freaking scared!
