Re: [ST] Paint on fairing of ST



When I bought my bike I did two thing to help minimize this problem, 
since I've seen the same problem on other bikes . First, I had the 
Triumph front mudguard extension installed. Second thing I did was 
install the clear 3M film ( sold on the ST web site.. thanks Eric) to 
protect the area from stone/sand/gravel , damage. etc. At almost 15K 
miles mine looks new.. As for fixing it I'd suggest cleaning the area 
of old wax, touching up all of the little chips with factory touch up 
paint. Then a good polish.. 3M imperial Hand Glaze, then covering 
said area with the 3M film.
