Hi Tommy,

Welcome to the list.

The Sprint gearbox is generally stiff on new bikes but will loosen up and smooth
out with use.

Try preloading the gear lever (taking up the slack in the linkage) before
pulling in the clutch. Also try deliberately changing through the gearbox as
much as possible to accelerate the breaking in process.
