[ST] New Cage
Be sure to check out the Zero % financing at GM dealers. Buy the right car
and the savings on interest may make the difference. On a 20k purchase you
might save $3500., lowering the payments to affordable-land. You have 'till
the end of the month.
No connection to GM, but I am buying a new truck to replace my 350K mile
1990 extended cab.

$1500+ in repairs into a 92 Escort with 160k miles = true death), I am
pretty much forced to get a new car.

Otherwise, I can get a much less expensive car (@13k rather than @20k), but
it won't be nearly as much car. Orrrrr, I can try to find a true beater,
but then I run the risk of the car dying at an inopportune time, again. To
compound the dilemna, the car MUST seat 5 in reasonable comfort, ergo a
beater mini truck doesn't cut the mustard. Thoughts?
