It did replace the original chain guard with one just like it with two extra
holes.  Tire removal is a must, you MIGHT be able to do it with the tire on
there, but it goes from a one beer job to a kegger.  While I don't love the
fake carbon fiber look, this is one durable hugger.  Rocks, mud, stone, tar
nothing has scratched it and it keeps the shock pristinly clean (are all the
springs yellow, or do they macth the color of the bike?)
