Just had my bike in for the 6k service and sure enough they discovered that the
seal on the output shaft is leaking.  They have ordered a new part and it is
covered under warranty.  I have never owned a vehicle that didn't leak at
least some oil so I nver really though much of it.  I also parked it where
I parked my old bike so it was hard to blame one or the other.  It is like 
having 2 dogs and coming home to find a mess on the rug.  Unless they are 
drastically different sizes you can't really blame either one.

If only I could tell synthetic oil spots from non synthetic.
