[ST] RE: chain life



Good point - I'll order another one since the original was turned to mush
when it got wet on a trip.

Per the Workshop manual, the chain length is fine - just the loose rollers
that were bothering me.  It doesn't say anything about replacing it at a
specific mileage, and I'd be surprised (and pleased!) if it lasted that
long.  My last chain drive bike needed a replacement at about every 6-8,000
miles, which is why I was wondering about the Sprint.

	I suggest you read your Owner's Manual. There are two pages on adjusting
and Measuring the slack of your chain. The manual states that the chain
should be replaced at 18K miles on the ST.
	It's all there for you to read.
