[ST] Re: carb synch tool?

Brian,
You will probably need to order the carb sync tool since they are not
usually stocked in local stores. Expect to pay about $30-$40. Mine was
$39 from Dennis Kirk (#28-273). You will also need adapters to connect the
vinyl tubing from the tool to the nipples on the throttle bodies. Go to
your local outo parts store and pick up 6" of .25" ID rubber tubing (I had
some lying around). Cut this into 3 pieces that are 2" long. One end of
the rubber tubing will fit over the t'body nipple, and the other end will
fit over the end of the vinyl tubing.

The cost of all of the equipment (appr. $40) is less than the cost of
letting the dealer do it for you once. Also, I didn't want to wait until
the 12k service to have it done with the valves. Mine were already out of
sync by quite a bit at only 7800 miles. If you need any more help, just
give me a shout, and I can walk you through the process.
