Yeah I'm with you there, the VFR with hardbags looks to be the perfect
bike...at least it would be if given a nice efficient shaft drive. But I
can't agree with you on the LBS, I think they are too cool. Use both
brakes and it just squats down and stops. I was worried about gravel but
afer having it up at MidOhio where there are large rocks for gravel in the
campground and I never once felt like trail braking would cost me the
front end, despite my worries which are now gone.
