Bill,

Same story. Love the V1, and to it's detractors, please read the "response
to radartest.com article" on the www.valentineone.com site. I know the
Escort 8500 is it's only real competitor, but they both have some unique
features, and for me, the V1 is the right choice.

As to your power problem, Bill, I have it too. Apparently there are times
when our bikes fluctuate power a little too much and trips that circuit. I
use the same V1 unit in my Oldsmobile, and have never seen that false laser
reading happen. There is a fix to it which involves putting a capacitor in
the power line, but I lost the link to the article. It was posted on the
Concours Owners Group site at one time, but seems to have moved. If anyone
knows more, I'd also appreciate it because I went out and bought the right
capacitor, but don't know where or how it should be installed on the power
line.
