i think that is too much and does not let the oil dry/stick enough, check
your manual for lubing in terms of kms.  i suggest that you lube it when you
stop for lunch and it will settle some while you eat. if you dont do too
much mileage, then lube it as you stop for a motel or something, do it while
the chain is hot and let it settle all night, the next morning it wont fly
off as much.
