Hi,
I have an '01 ST; just wondering who else has seen any of the following
problems:
Already fixed:
- -the clutch cable broke after 3,000 miles. A little tooth inside the clutch
lever sawed through the cable at the upper end. Poor finish work, I'd say.
- -turning over, but not starting. The dealer removed the tank & disassembled
parts of the fuel line, reassembled and fixed the problem, but they don't
know what was wrong.
Still a nuisance:
- -*really* hard to start when hot, like 5 minutes after I turn it off.
Usually takes 3-4 tries.
- -misfires when decelerating, generally around 2500-3000 rpms. Makes a
f@rting 'pffft' sound and stumbles.
- -(minor) heated grips seem to have different temperatures -- the right one
is about twice as warm.
- -Rob
