Hmmm, I've had my '01 ST for about 6 months. Only have about 13,180 miles
on it. Had a 7,200 miles 15 day vacation, other than that I take it to
work about the same as the sum of the truck and TT. As far as aimless
drives, the ST wins again. Nothing like a 300 miles ride in the country,
except for when you hit a bit of gravel at the apex of the turn (eh Steve
:-).

I am on my third rear and second front, 205/207's respectfully. Changed
the rear a bit early, still had a mm or 2 before the wear bars, but it was
at the dealership for the 12k. Had the carb's syn'd, new tune, and valves.

One thing that was interesting, all the valves where in spec?????

As well, now the bike will just die sometimes when I blib the throttle??

Anyway, still like the bike, an extra 10-12 HP would be very friendly. 
Still have the black top box, hopefully I will get the green one in before
the bike is a year old. I will NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE take the bike, sign
the papers and hand over a check for the bike/luggage until they are one.
