Re: [ST] 02 VFR Info
I know my ST is no flyweight but the new VFR is, well... a tad portly don't
you think?
Dry Weight: 490.0 pounds (Optional ABS 499.0 pounds)
Also, Honda needs to offer additional colors. That yellow didn't do
anything for me. Bring back the Glorious Refrigerator White, make 30-40
lbs. disappear & I might go look at one (in about 3 years).
You can keep your twins. Though I did ride a ST4 last wkd that had been
geared down TWO teeth on c'shaft sprocket. It pulled like no street bike I
have ever ridden. Great for around town but wouldn't want to head to Grand
Junction on that thing as the cruising range was prob. ~ 125 miles.
Vibrated like hell too. Sprint's are much 'sharper' handling machines than
ST2/4's. Must be the steering head geometry - that ST4 handled like I
imagine a big luxo-BMW would: DEAD whereas our Sprint's handle light &
'crisp'. This no doubt has something to do with center of gravity?????
Comments?
