[ST] Price of ST's around the world?

There was recently some discussion about the cost of STs out the door. I'm
curious to know what the price is around the world. For comparison, can we
use a standard ST with no extras (eg bags), and the price that the dealer
sells for, rather than the list price, which in some countries is never
paid. Also, in ome countries there are "on-road" costs such as compulsory
insurance - if possible, can we separate out those costs? I assume that
since the price hasn't changed much, we can include 1999-2001 bikes.

To kick the ball off, for my 2001 ST, I was able to negotiate the dealer
down to Au$13,000 (US$6,500) and was about to buy when I spotted (and
bought) a bike for sale privately with <100km on the clock for just over
$12,000 (US$6,000) - that was an on-road price (the dealer's price wasn't).
