Bill, in response to your question about the stock exhaust can, after you
remove the outer stainless steel cover you will find a welded fully closed
muffler. You have to cut into the internals and if you can not weld titanium
I wouldn't go any further. Inside the muffler is a reverse flow set of three
baffles. I gutted the entire baffle system and replaced mine with a straight
through baffle, and packing.
