Same impression here. The silver VFR looks a bit better than Honda red, 
but the added weight/VTEC were negatives (the ST's ~460lbs is a bit too 
heavy for me as it is).

ABS on the rear might be useful (need to practice panic stops more), but 
VTEC is just a lame idea [my first bike had a similar scheme called REV, 
and it wasn't any good then, either].

Having sat upon the '02 VFR, my immediate thought was, "Hell, I oughtta 
just get the ST...".

btw, had the shop put on the GenMars while in for the 500mi service... 
riding back, really couldn't feel much of a difference.
One idea I had was to install the Helibars clip-on -> triple clamp 
adapters with a Trophy bar. That'd be comfy if everything fit, but am a 
bit leery about altering the handle geometry too much.
